Roxy Spring/Summer Fashion Show

Lately, I have been getting alot of Slack from friends regarding my fashion style and grooming(NOT in a good way alright?!?) *embarrassed* It's probably because I have been attending and emceeing events.....Yet, my closet is not bursting with clothes....Worst still...I hardly go shopping!

Hold it! I am not saying my fashion sense is bad, or I hope not......BUT ..I have to admit! I am a "comfortable look" kind of girl if you get what I mean....minimal fuss, make up free, you get what I mean..... However, since my recent awakening due to much prodding from friends, I have decided to revamp my look and wardrobe...... and what's the best way to be a fashionista?!?  Be at fashion events to catch the latest looks on the runway right?!?

With the timing just right, I recently went to the Roxy Spring Summer Fashion show which was held at Mid Valley..... It was a huge event, bigger than I expected with great set up....I, of course attended the event with two of my hot and stylish girlfriends.....:) Why they are waaaay more stylish that I am, they both asked me...is there a dress code for the event?!? Without looking at the invites...I said "Don't think so"! To our dismay, we arrived looking quite overdressed as everyone was dressed in their best surf and turf outfits.....~eeeppp, sorry girls~

Got goodie bags too.....caps for the ladies and slippers for the men.... Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the RM50 voucher for Roxy  and Quicksilver attire after the event because I had to leave early to emcee another event :( boo!

The event basically kick started with three dj's from Fly FM as emcees, of course they were all dressed in sundresses and shorts!

The fashion show begin with local celebrities modelling clothes from Roxy and Quicksilver, some of you probably know....

Did I tell you, I have a "thing" for guys that can play the guitar....I find it sexy! This model was not just holding a guitar but his body was HOT! Everyone ooohheed and aaahhhed when he came out...

This model had the surder dude look..... reminded me of some the surfers in Hawaii..you get to see guys like that all over the place....hehehehe

Whoever thought of including kids in the fashion show is GENIUS! I loved it because the kids were really cute and it was a great way to advertise and model their kids attire.....

My final picture has to include my favourite piece of clothing in the show, NOT including swimwear.... the bohemian short dress...although I could only captured her back... my girlfriends agreed with me.....

Sadly, I missed out on the huge discount given after the show...Not only do we get a 20% discount but you can also use the RM50 voucher(which was only valid for that day!!).....gggrrr! I would have bought so many items!!! It would have been a great start to revamping my look.... but it's ok... I can always go back during sales right?!? or when I am just feeling rich?!?

This season's clothing and swimwear from Roxy and Quiksilver was actually quite impressive! The motifs are comfortable yet allows flexibility when you transition from day to night...Hope you guys enjoyed the sneak preview on the latest designs by Roxy!
