Truly Thailand-Day 2

The second day started out with a bunch of hyped girls! Why????? Because on our makeshift itinerary, Erik(the organizer) stated a FULL DAY OF SHOPPING for us!! woo hoo!! And the guys were going to fish, huge cat fishes the size of humans! Don't worry, they put it back into the ocean after catching it:) However, Golffy and Petty wanted to bring us sightseeing, the few places mentioned was the lying Buddha, grand palace, etc. which we agreed to because it only took up part of the morning......and they understood....ahem......our "shopping craze", I presumed!!Not to forget, we finally got to truly taste Thailand....a full day of street food! For the win!

Before we walked to the LRT

Kendra looking like a model!

Come on....like May said, we need to take a picture with us sitting on a public transport!

At the jetty with pretty Petty and hidden Golffy?

Our new rickety ride(Btw, it was a nice smooth ride)

Enjoying the breeze

I took this picture because I saw the stark differences between a nice bungalow house and a shack next to it! The economic divide, rich versus poor, side by side....

We passed by many beautiful temples and shrines on the cruise

The Grand Palace where we were NOT allowed in because of May's sexy shoulders and Golffy's showy legs? At least we still manage to "see" it!

That 70's show ride! I wanna get a van like that someday...kekekeke

The day of all days where we ate authentic Thai food, by the roadside! Awesome stuff! I still dream of the chicken and papaya salad...~yum~

Although it looked like simple grilled chicken and sticky rice...uh-uh...when you put it in your mouth, it tasted much more than that!! So delicious!!!

Papaya salad!!!!

Shopped for quite awhile at Khao San road before heading to Platinum mall again!

I found this food stall while we were hunting for food during dinner time! So innovative, they had a small hole in between for the waitress to speak with the cook:)

Duck noodles...street food found all over Thailand...and it tastes sooo good!

Kendra waited and walked quite far for her pad Thai! And she got it!!!

Night out ladies!!!Can you see all the new bags that we bought!!!!

We headed to a road(I forgot what it's called! sorry!!!) where there were just endless choices of clubs and bars.....something like Changkat Bukit Bintang and in Hawaii(maybe Waikiki??)...I took this pictures because I wanted to show you guys the beautiful hanging lights from the tree.......those vertical lights in the pic! I know.....I have mad skills in photography(SO NOT!)

Demo club..literally meant demolition...spinning house music...the entire interior of the club had graffiti painted walls! Girls and (Guys) who only dance to RnB will probably not want to come here....... but if you go with a good crowd, a bunch of girls that just luuuuuurrrvveee dancing :)..you will probably like it ~wink~

Just had to take a picture of this cool bush shaped as a stallion outside the club!!

Both of us got a single rose from Erik before we headed home!! Sweet...he bought it to give business to the boy that was selling it on the street:)

Before you guys go "Phew, her day finally ended!" Can you imagine us over there experiencing a whole day of activities? For me, as a traveller/tourist, I am a more of a "go with the flow"  kinda girl and like to spend time sleeping, strolling around leisurely, and not rushing all over the place...as we don't get to "not rush" in KL, whereas many others like to squeeze as many things into one day. These were one of the days that was jam packed but I have no complains because every bit of activity was fun, and most importantly, stress free! And......thanks to Golffy, we got to eat "authentic Thai street food" Boo-yah!!!!
