Jaz Fresh Food Review - Espress Cafe (Al fresco dining)

Horrors of horrors! It's  been awhile since I actually blogged about food *gasps*! Yes, I know, greedy me can't be too busy to eat right?????? You are right...that's impossible...the sky will be probably drop on our heads if I am too busy to eat....I will NEVER miss out my FIVE meals of the day! lol!

Anyway, I have a few food reviews and recommendations for you in my next few posts... to tempt you just a lil....I am going to share one of my food secrets with you...the best Ramlee burger in town! Stay tuned peeps...:) This time I have decided to venture away from my comfort zones(e.g., PJ, Bangsar, KL) to a land far far away called Klang! My klang readers..... don't take offense ok? But it's really far for me!!! eeeeppp!!! However, I will not turn up the chance to try out a new place and great food.... what tempt me even more was the fact that the place had al fresco dining..... me likey!

I found out after driving there that it is not that far away if you use the NKVE, just a tip for those who would like to try it.....

After taking the exit to Taman Botanic, it's the row of shops to your left, right opposit Aeon mall Bukit Tinggi. You will not miss it because it has a huge sign outside stating Espress cafe!

Was driving towards my destination when I see cows walking right in front of that row of shops.....don't you just love it? cows in their own little worlds right in the middle of a developed city? The blend of nature and modernisation.....or are WE destoying nature and they don't have homes, hence they decide to eat grass by the roadside?!?

Loving the Al fresco part, felt Parisian!

Once you step onto the foyer, you will not miss the Jaz Fresh logo...Yes, you are right?!? They serve Jaz Fresh beer for you right here...not just a mere restaurant:)

Sarah sexily awaiting hers!!! As a health freak, I think it's the best beer around because it doesn't have added additives or preservatives, you are truly drinking fresh, "alive" beer...... Of course, do note that once you have opened it, you better consume that mini keg staightaway because it only has a 7 day shelf life because it's made from the finest natural ingredients................AU NATUREL baby!

Of course, we have to join in the fun with our mugs of Jaz Fresh right?!?

Naughty Tim! tsk tsk...he's enjoying his golden coloured Jaz Fresh the RAW way..... hhmm..drinking it directly from the mini keg... he probably gets to savour the fragrant aroma of hops with a pleasant bitterness better huh?!? or else...why would he do that? Isn't it tiring?!?

Of course...don't you worry...all you food enthusiasts out there.... here is a peak into their best dishes in this little Al Fresco dining place

Beer grub galore to go with your Jaz Fresh! My favourite appetizer would be Chicken fried crackers(RM 5.90) because it resembled keropok(Asian name for crackers). Once you start eating it, you won't stop! And for those who just loooove their nuggets, they serve fried chicken nuggets(RM 6.90) here too....
Now for my favourite main dishes in order alright?

Teriyaki Chicken bowl rice(RM8.50). This is my ultimate favourite NOt because I love rice(*maybe just a lil) but it not only has a great serving size but they used the teriyaki sauce in a creative way to make your bowl of rice Delicious! YYYUUMMMZZZ

Nasi Lemak Rendang(RM9.20).....I know, you are probably wondering...Not another rice dish?!? Yes, it is!!!! I won't highlight it for all of you guys if I don't think it's good right?!? The sambal is just right...not too spicy!

Grilled chicken chop(RM10.90)...what I love about this dish? I know...it looks ordinary...but I liked the sauce...in Asia, cooking is about what tantalizes your taste buds right?!? And the sauce had the right twang to make me go.....GIVE ME MORE! teeheeee....

The Tom Yam Seafood soup(RM 5.90) is a must have for those eating tany rice dishes because it goes very well with rice...every tom yam dish does! And this one is no exception! They were even generous with the seafood and vegetables *winks*

I have to warn you...the Spaghetti with spicy Tuna Tomato(RM8.20) is for small eaters. There wasn't much that would have filled me up for dinner but the spicy tuna gave it the added "oommpphhh" to change it from a normal pasta dish to a more Fusion pasta dish!

Taiwanese Chicken chop(RM6.50) What makes it different is the spice on top of the fried chicken chop...

The most expensive dish would be the swallow fried lamb chop(RM16.50)...for those meat lovers out there...this is Just right for you.

The Dry curry chicken noodles(RM7.30) was an interesting combo for me..... you would really have to be adventurous to try this one out...

The  dessert blew me away....Yam Snow Ice(RM5.30) especially the chocolate one because the ice was not only soft but it already tasted like chocolate....can you imagine with the added chocolate toppings on top? heeeaaavveeeennnn!!!

The crowd as we were heading out about 10pm! These people are clearly here to enjoy a late snack + beer!

I have heard people telling me before, PJ people are arrogant because their world revolves around PJ and they won't venture out! After much observation on friends, I have to agree, it's not because we are arrogant, it's probably because we are Lazy and we assume PJ has everything! But I know for one thing, you won't get to enjoy watching a herd of cows walked by while dining at a restaurant........hehehehehe....so all you PJ people, it's time to venture out and start trying new places to eat!!!!!!!!!!

xoxo

Firѕt off І woulԁ liκe to say terrific blog!
I had a quicκ questiοn whіch I'd like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I have had a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or tips? Kudos!
