IStyle KLIA Heat 1 - Not just Paperkids but CUTE Avant Garde ones

[Advertorial]

This is in relations to my previous post on istyle KLIA which I told you about on how 6 final teams(each consisting a stylist, designer, and publicist) compete to design high fashion by using recycled materials! The first heat was exciting and challenging at the same time for the contestants because they had to "create" an accesory for children using used paper material such as a button, used paper, thread and more. One of the conditions was to find these recycled material from the trash, and of course from the only kids apparel store in KLIA which is Poney.

Why I am in support? The words "Runway Green" says it all... Fashion + enviromentally friendly

Hollywood glamour mirrors for the kid models..they get a taste of what it feels like to be Amber Chia

The event kick started with a fashion show by the Kid models..

All of them looking snazzy and hip

The kid models were really treated like superstars!! After the catwalk, they had to do a photo shoot with the newly designed accessories on them..here's a sneak peek to the contestant's design..

All of them were so professional and cute, it was hard not to say "aaaawwwww"

The 7 talented judges - Cris Yong, Faizah Khairuddin, Nik Anis Nik Zakaria, Yasmin Rasyid, Rico Rinaldi, Tengku Syahmi, Jonathan Liang chose..... "drum roll" Team Elite 25 from Taylor's as the WINNER!

This team was inspired by aviator "the sky is the limit" concept and they created a pair of goggles with the helmet for this boy.

The first heat was a success with all the glitz and glamour of a real runway. The only difference is that it's eco-green and local talents are able to showcase their designs using their creativity which I give two thumbs up for!! You go guys, all 6 teams because you may just lead the future generation to wearing clothes which are purely made of recycled material :)

xoxo

ӏ'm getting fed up of Wordpress because I've had issueѕ with hаcκerѕ and I'm looking at alternatives for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
