When giving never gets old

Happy 2012 everyone!!!!!! May this year bring many blessings, and success to all of you!!

Towards the last few days of 2011, I've decided to dedicate some time, effort and money to the children of Trinity Home whom I have helped and tutored since the age of 16. These children were actually the ones that shaped my vision to what it is today, and gave me a reason to do my PhD in Developmental psychology.
I did something different this time, I decided to bring them shopping for candy at the fun and latest candy store in One Utama...called Candylicious. I thought to myself..why not give them an experience they would like rather than buy them what we "think" they would like.......

With the help of 3 nice guys(Oscar, Ben, and Jern) and the caretaker, we begin the outing by taking 18 children on a candy spree!!whheeee!!!!

All decked out walking through One Utama which is now a Super Mall!

They were so cute, trying to work within the budget I gave each of them...

All happy and cheerful after running around the huge store filled with all types of candies!! A heaven for kids and candy-lovers like ME!!!

After a tiring "shopping spree", we head to....

The guys being caretakers leading all the children to McDonald's!!

Man, it was definitely tough to coordinate 20 orders, with some taking McChicken set, Spicy McChicken sets, and the list goes on...

The whole row taken up by us..

All individual pictures of us with the children enjoying a meal together...
Like my title says, it's not about just giving at a certain time of the year... why not find time and effort to spend time with them throughout the year? Ben and I will be visiting them from time to time......
Start the year afresh with new resolutions, to improve your life not just physically, financially, and mentally, but also socially and spiritually!
Have a heartfelt 2012 guys!!
xoxo
Meiz
