Remember the beauty secret in a bottle I told you about? I can finally reveal to all of you what it is, so you can try it out for yourselves!!!!!

Not one for being selfish about beauty products that can enhance one's beauty from within, especially when we are talking about your health! I will finally share with you a little more on the recent launch to unveil the latest innovative product by Brands which is the *drum roll*

"Brands Innershine OPC"

The Brands group clearly knew how to entice girls to their launch because they chose an apt location which is cute and sweet at the same time

None other than Fullhouse Sunway Giza

People started rolling in during the wee hours of the morning..probably because Brands Innershine OPC promotes beauty from within, they thought morning launches will be good to get people up and running about which I like...so I am NOT the only one awake in the morning :p

Told you it was sweet, and youthful which draws females in

Posing next to the huge banner for Brands Innershine OPC, which has the brand ambassador, Penny Tai, a Malaysian singer and songwriter who is now famous in Taiwan! You go local artistes!

*Drools* Can I have a few more boxes??????? I loved the taste so much!!! There are 8x50 ml bottles in one box which can lasts me for a month if I have 3?!?

And they have a bigger one on stage?!?!

Throngs of media and bloggers at the launch probably hoping for one box too..or was it just me?!?!

Dr Keiichi Abe(Vice President of the Regional Research & Development division of Cerebos Pacific Limited), who presented the science behind Brands Innershine OPCwhich lies in the powerful anti-oxidant benefits of OPC.
Since I learned so much from Dr Keiichi Abe about the wonderful ingredients that makes your skin youthful and luminous by providing nourishment to your body from within, it's time to share a little more. Anyway, sharing is CARING right?

Plus, I want to tell you guys more so you know what you are purchasing before getting it. The secret to this bottle of magic lies in one main ingredient which is called Oligomeric Proanthocyanidin Complexes(OPC). Other than its high antioxidant property, OPC has been known to exhibit anti-inflammatory activity, strengthen blood vessels, and prevent degradation of collagen and elastin. OPC "locks and strengthens skin collagen to keep it firm as well as combat free radicals to help the skin stay young."

It's also stronger than vitamin C by 20 times and Vitamine E by 50 times. Now you don't have to take those long, nasty pills, you can just drink one bottle of Brands Innershine OPC for your daily dose of vitamins and antioxidants :)

Soapstar NOT pornstar y'all!

Everyone knows that we Malaysians are a greedy lot, not because we are born that way or anything, but because we have a variety of super good food to eat in Malaysia right? We just can't help it:)

Talking about food, everyone loves dessert too no? If dessert can be categorized as a "food type" in general, desserts would be at the top of my favourite food list...but now I have to choose....from

Ice creams

The new "in" thing, macaroons

And even cupcakes

Stop right there! You are probably going to ask me where these cute delectable desserts are from...but they are not what you think! They are actually soaps....One creative Malaysian girl fused her passion for eating with her talent to create soaps into just any shape she wants....She of course, chose desserts as her designs which I do not object to at all...

These soaps seen above look very real that when people see it, they always think that I am offering them some type of food! And that's what I truly like about these soaps from Soapstar, the authenticity of how it looks and the way it smells! Besides feeling clean, it leaves you feeling sweet smelling, even rivalring the Victoria's Secret Garden collection perhaps?

And one more thing I MUST highlight about these super cute soaps is the fact that it's really cheap! A set cost LESS THAN RM10(3USD). Don't believe it, check out their latest designs here and to place an order, just click on this link: http://imasoapstar.blogspot.com/

Not a beauty secret anymore!

Yesterday was a really hectic day for me, aaahh...what am I talking about, the whole week was insane! It's because I am currently hosting a tv show(will tell you more when it's out) now, doing voice overs for the three different cartoons on Astro Tutor TV SPM, hosting events AND writing my Phd papers tooo!!!!! KKRRAAZZYY!!!

Here was how my schedule looked like yesterday:

5.45 am : Wake up to get ready

7.15am: Traffic jam my way down to KLCC

8.00am: Arrived for hair and make up for the shoot

9.30am: Found out it was postponed after make-up, WTH?!?!

10.00am: Head to Bangsar for a meeting

1.15pm: Head to Inti College to lecture

4.00pm: Rush back like Speedy Gonzales for a quick "mandi kerbau"(cow shower because it is quick!)

5.00pm: Head for another meeting (where I met a very rich Datuk who was really arrogant)

7.00pm: Rushed for the Guess watch Launch

9.00pm: Traffic jam my way back to KLCC again for the shoot which I couldn't even arrive as stipulated because I was stuck on Kerinchi link for 45 MINUTES!!!!

12.00am: Went to sleep a tired tired girl!

And due to my parent's insistence to take care of my health, I have a few "beauty regimes" that I maintain to keep healthy and hopefully looking "presentable" , or elseI would look like Fright Night! As I don't or hardly exercise because of my tight schedule( I try to ok!!!!), I supplement my health with other things, some pretty nasty stuff such as....

A tasteless drink of wild mushrooms which is an antioxidant...yuck!

The mushrooms soaked in water

Noni Juice which is also another antioxidant made of fresh fruits and natural extracts, which I always forget to drink....SHUCKS!

Neem Tablets for the skin

Barley Foochok a couple of times a week boiled with love by my grandmother so I don't get sore throat!

But don't you guys think this is very tiring? Plus, knowing some of us lazy girls like myself, I alway FORGET to take one or the other unless someone pesters me..... This regime actually begun only when I fell ill a couple of times the past few months, which is a sign of unhealthy eating and sleeping habits + STRESS!

To unveil my latest find, I found a beauty supplement which is a drink that can be consumed daily and gives you all the antioxidants that you will need from berries extract with the main active ingredient being OPC. It keeps your skin looking firm and refreshed! ANNNNDD, it tastes REALLY good, just like grape juice:) Yumz!!!

But if you are curious of OPC, it is actually Oligomeric Proanthocyanidins Complexes in short, it has powerful antioxidants, and it is said to be 20 times more powerful than Vitamin C, 50 times more powerful than Vitamin E. Too good to be true, huh?

Nope, I swear by it daily now. Time for consolidation peeps! All the above I have shown you into one small bottle which I carry with me anywhere I go to be healthy and looking fresh!

What is it? You will find out soon......In the meantime, you can check out their FB or Website for more information, or my "like" badge!!

Shoot- When the sun goes down

After arranging a sunset shoot @ Tanjung Sepat for the past three months, I finally gave up on procrastinating because I had ONE available day during the Raya holidays! Given the fact that I have never done a sunset theme and the lure of an "avant garde" look definitely drew me in...

The location was actually a seaside/swamp further in from the Sepang village but this a shoot I will never regret...Look at how the pictures turned out?????

Being barefoot in the sand was actually thrilling when the sun was coming down, and the tide rising... here are some of my favourite pictures....

Just a simple box in the sand made a good prop

Mei Yee, the brand manager of Jelly Pong Pong Malaysia doing my wonderful make up!

Check out the wonders of nature behind me

With waves rolling

Orange glow of the sun

Among all the locations I have shot at, this is one place that will be ingrained in my memory. Not only was the scenery picturesque, but the team behind these pictures were A++, from the make up artiste to the photographer. Photographer knew how to set the lighting so it hit my face just perfect, with the artwork of the make-up artiste? Ta-da, this is the amazing outcome....:) I loved it so much that I will be using a picture from this shoot in my "soon to come" website.

For those who would like to get some pictures taken by William, click HERE

And girls, trust me, you definitely want to check out the make up used for this shoot from Jelly pong pong Malaysia. They have the cutest packaging!!

Al-Amar Express - Lebanese food in the heart of KL

Have you ever tried Lebanese food before???????? Do you know that there's a popular Lebanese restaurant that's located in the city center??????

Don't think so right? Many people assume or think that Lebanese food is similar to Middle Eastern food but it is NOT, because I made that same mistake before I entered the latest "express" Lebanese cafe called Al-Amar in front of Farenheit 88 mall....*eeepppssss*

Was basically attracted by the unique decor which had al-fresco dining area and an interior where you can peek at your chef cooking... gets me hungry ALL the time!

Greeted by a woody al-fresco exterior

The other al-fresco portion which had more plants, saves you from the ongoing pollution from the traffic, I kinda like this part better because it's like a mini oasis

Shisha galore

The interior which faces the open concept kitchen

A sneak peek to what I saw before I put the actual food in my stomach? Allows my imagination to run WILD!

Grilling meat

Lebanese chef making the pizza

LOOK at the pizza!!! Wait till you see the end product below

A charcoal barbeque pit built in for your skewered meat and vege's

These roasted chicken definitely got me salivating... enough pictures already...time to EAT!!!

BUT....I actually couldn't understand what was on the original menu,as I suspect many others would have the same problem....So, Al-Amar express actually packaged their best dishes into a lunch set for us consumers....yippieee!!

There are four choices of set lunches, but within each set, you can choose exactly what you want from the salads to the starters...

The waiters were knowledgeble enough to recommend suitable choices for us to pick for the salads, breads, and dips...

Ralph and his Lebanese coffee, don't you think the coffee holder looks like a lamp from Aladdin? ( I know, I know, I am LAME)

Lebanese beer Almaza which Ralph insisted is a MUST try for alcoholic beavers!

This lebanese bread..... what a horribly embarrasing story? Remember how I told you I was hungry??? Well, when this bread came in first before our meals, I actually thought it was bread you eat before your meal like in an Italian restaurant.... To my dismay, it was plain tasting and Ralph actually told me the bread goes with the dips that comes in with the set lunch...*blush*

And now...on to the introduction of the set lunches...

Roasted chicken set with moutabal and tabbouleh

The Baguette sandwiches combo with coleslaw, moutabal and three different types of pastries

The Lebanese sandwiches combo, with hommos(a delicious dip for the bread) and tabbouleh

In my opinion, many new Lebanese food goers should get this set, the combination was perfect! Fattouch with hommos, and the delicious Lebanese pizza:)

Not leaving this place without trying their homemade ice cream! PLEASE get the strawberry sorbet and vanilla one...it's unlike any I've tasted before!! Heavenly..

Some group pictures before I left

My first experience with Lebanese food was unique and tasty to say the least *winkz* Don't be afraid to try it guys, it's located in front of Farenheit 88 mall! If you are confused about anything, their friendly waiters will help you through the menu and set lunches:)

As I recommend many of you to try out Lebanese food at Al-Amar Express, I am giving out four vouchers , each worth RM20 off your total price for food and beverage. All you have to do is leave a comment telling me which continent Lebanon is located in?
